Ten pieces of theme music are used for the episodes: three opening themes and seven closing themes in the original Japanese episodes and two opening themes and two ending themes in the English versions. The rest of the series was never aired outside Japan. The dubbed episodes of Zatch Bell! discontinued airing after episode seventy-seven on Cartoon Network on December 23, 2006, while the Canadian YTV station discontinued the series on episode 104. Viz Media later bought the rights to air the series where it aired on Cartoon Network's Toonami block and YTV.
